Chance the Rapper Honors Muhammad Ali at the ESPYs

The ESPYs have been called the Oscars of sports; everyone dresses up real fancy, awards are presented, and people are honored. The 2016 ESPYs were full of memorable moments, but none more than Chance the Rapper‘s performance to honor the greatest ever and recently passed, Muhammad Ali. Chance performed an original song, that had cut samples of various interviews that Ali had done throughout his career. He was accompanied on stage by Donnie Trumpet, Jamila Woods, Peter Cottontale, and Teddy Jackson. The performance was extremely moving, bringing many of the athletes in the room to their feet after it was over.
