Ever since introducing designer Alessandro Michele as creative director, Gucci has gone through a sort of renaissance and revitalization of the brand. This trend continues with Michele’s latest menswear collection for Gucci for Spring/Summer 2017. His design aesthetic is incredibly maximalist, which is surprising that everything he does works so well. He frequently mixes colors and patterns that clash in all the right ways. It’s a true testament to his design prowess that he’s able to make a Donald Duck sweater vest look expensive and incredibly cool.
