22 year old Canadian singer Justin bieber was awarded 8 Guinness records on September 29. Thanks to his fourth album ‘Purpose’, Bieber scored the following records:

- Most streamed track on Spotify in one week: ‘What Do You Mean’ with 30,723,708 times over seven days.

- Most streamed album on Spotify in one week: Purpose was streamed 205 million times worldwide.

- Most simultaneous tracks on the US singles chart: 17 tracks, with songs such as “Sorry”, “Love Yourself”, “Company” and ”Mark My Words”.

- Most simultaneous new entries in the Hot 100 by a solo artist: 13 songs on the Hot 100 dated December 5, 2015.

- First act to occupy all top three positions simultaneously on UK singles chart.

- Male with most followers on twitter: 85,235,563.

- Most viewed music channel on YouTube: Justin’s official VEVO channel on YouTube was the most viewed with 10,478,651,389

- Most subscribers on YouTube for a male musician: 20,711,202 subscribers
