Lucas Ossendrijver has been Lanvin’s menswear director for quite sometime now, but his collections never fail to look fresh and modern. Such is the case with his Spring/Summer 2017 offering, which took place at Palais de Tokyo on Sunday. The layering in this collection was superbly done, with every model having some type of layer. A particularly interesting trend that was introduced was the mixing of stripes. One model had a diagonal-striped button down over a horizontal-striped t-shirt, while another had a vertical-stripped button down with a diagonal-striped pocket square. It surprisingly worked really well on the runway, and could be a future trend in streetwear.
