Earlier this week, Gucci released a new campaign video for their Cruise 2017 collection. The eclectic film, which is directed by Glen Luchford and lasts just over a minute, is a throwback to England’s fashion legacy; highlighting Punk, Scottish and Victorian styles.
The video is filmed in Chatsworth House in Devonshire, England, which was the house of the Duke and Duchess of the county and has been passed down through 16 generations. It also features renowned British actress Vanessa Redgrave.
As Alessandro Michele was the Art Director, the film exudes attitude and authenticity, which is what Gucci has become ever since Alessandro was appointed Creative Director of the brand. Considering the Cruise 2017 collection was presented at Westminster Abbey in London, it made sense that its campaign was filmed in the UK.
Watch the video below. The collection will be available at the end of this year.
